New Mexico Storm, Mixed Media, 8 X 8 inches. The storm comes in a rage, rants for a time, sometimes only minutes, and then disappears into the onyx of the clouds. What is left may become a torrent or only a dribble to disappear into the soul of the drought. Waters may rage, waters may linger, waters may vanish into the nether of the underworld, but brightness soon reappears. The sun acts as if nothing happened. All is lightened once again. The sun shines bright. Such is the life of a New Mexico storm.
