A tribute to the women of the Southwest who braved droughts, cold, famine, and more.  Whether Native American or the Hispanics who settled here, the women held families together in spite of conditions often harsh and dangerous.  This painting is a tribute to them and to all the women who followed and who persist to make the land and world a better place.
