Once again unusual faces have surfaced. The left handed side of the diptych was one of those serendipitous occurrences that an artist reveres when it happens leaving one in wonderment as to its origin. The third face just seemed to grow and only became obvious when I stepped far away to determine the next swish of the brush. Once I saw the beginnings of the "hidden" face, I could not remove it, but had to play with it more. Voila, the finished image to then be connected with the second canvas.
This diptych will be a part of a group show in Bologna, Italy in November--a great opportunity for purchase in Italy.
