“Moving On,” Oil on Monotype

One of my latest small pieces.  There could be all kinds of stories to go along with this one.  Do you see the bear wondering what he is going to do?  Or is there just the urge to get along with life on the part of the man?  I love looking at something which I have painted and all of a sudden, seeing something new in it (i.e., the bear or maybe it is a Huskie)--part of the wonder of painting in the way which I do.  No preconceived notions when I start--just my own inner unconscious exploring what I read, what I think about, and what I see.
