"Time in Canyon de Chelly," Oil Painting Inspired by a Visit Long Ago

 Throughout my life I have been fascinated by the early people of the Southwest, the lives which they led, and the structures they left behind.  White House ruin in Canyon de Chelly National Monument is named for the white plaster wall behind it.  The contrast between life of the past and life of the new struck me inspiring this painting.
