The New Mexican architectural form of the Native American pueblos has become etched in my mind.I begin to understand how the Taos Society of Artists early in the art history of Taos were so fascinated with Native American life and form. It still holds fascination for artists from all over the world.
Until a few months ago, I seldom painted a pueblo in spite of my many fond experiences associated with the Taos Pueblo in particular. Now i find myself being drawn to pueblo mystique not to the exclusion of other painting inspirations, but to inclusion.
